Please tell us a bit about yourself
I recently joined Tall Ships Youth Trust, having spent much of my career working in the charity and commercial sectors. I’m passionate about organisations that make a real difference, so I’m excited to be part of a team that helps young people discover what they’re capable of.
Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors whenever I can, whether that’s running, walking, or playing tennis with family and friends. I also appreciate a slower pace from time to time, particularly if it involves good company and a glass of wine. I have four children (who aren’t really children anymore!), and spending time with them continues to be one of my favourite things.
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust
I help keep the organisation on course financially, ensuring we have the resources and resilience to transform the lives of more young people
What has been your most memorable moment at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
Although I’m still new to Tall Ships Youth Trust, one of my most memorable moments has already been taking part in a day sail. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience first-hand what our young people do on board, while also spending time with colleagues in a completely different environment. It really brought the impact of our work to life.
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
We don’t just deliver voyages, we create transformational experiences with lasting impact.
Please describe your job in three words
Budgets, boats and beneficiaries
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
Probably something to do with tennis – of the three times I’ve appeared on TV, every one of them has been on a tennis court!
