Introducing Youth Voice: Driven by Young Energy, Real-Life Experience, and Passion
There’s an exciting new energy rippling across TSYT….We are thrilled to officially introduce Youth Voice – a dedicated group created to harness the energy, knowledge, and hands-on experience of young people to shape and deliver what we offer for people just like them.
What is Youth Voice?
Youth Voice was created with a clear purpose: to strengthen how young people’s experiences, views, and ideas help shape TSYT’s work.
Young people bring valuable first-hand experience of TSYT and the impact our work can have. Youth Voice creates a direct connection between our young community and TSYT leadership, ensuring their experiences, ideas and perspectives help shape our youth development programme, environmental initiatives and sea-going voyages.
Youth Voice brings together young people aged 16–25 from across the TSYT youth community – a diverse range of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives.
By sharing their lived experiences and representing wider youth views, they will help us stay closely connected to what matters most to young people, offering fresh insight and helping us continuously develop what we do.
