This morning at 10 o’clock we arrived in perfect condition at our destination, however that soon changes…

The vicious winds and waves shook our boat as we fled to one side for safety, it was scary…

HOWEVER, we survived the adventure.

Fist we started with our brief and tour of our pirate ship, looking at the storage locker for all sails and ropes. We finished our tour and went on board, where the rain was pouring down on us. Dripping with salty water, we put on our waterproof gear and lifejackets.

We have done some amazing learning from king captain Matt by learning how to hoist the sails and yo ho through the North Sea.  The waves submerged the entire boat as we did a barrel role through the fishy ocean.

We worked very hard to hoist the sails, needing hardly a beating from the watch leaders, so terrified we were of Alex.

We had then prepped and cooked our gorgeous chicken fajitas which put us on his good side, as well as the rest of the crew 😉

On Saturday 4^th October in the morning, we got up around 7 am then Kiera was supposed to make breakfast, but she was faffing around getting herself ready. Then our group went up to top deck, and we got the boat ready for sail by putting sails up ready for use

We got our heavy waterproofs on that were quite comfortable

We set off into a race against Challenger 3 it was quite a struggle was the waves were crashing against the boat we are all dripping wet and felt like we were in a hurricane with rocking side to side unable to keep the balance.

At one point we felt like we were going to flip over and notice a mermaid underneath we called her sky and she helped right the boat.

And then we had a new crew member named Gerald the pigeon he was scared and had a manky eye so was contagious. We gave Gerald biscuit crumbs and a drink out of a bottle lid.

Came back to shore because we were chased by a pirate ship with cannons loaded

Then we were inviting to a quiz party with other where’s wally and had 6 rounds of question 8

Then had to build a castle with spaghetti and marshmallows and Alex was the prince of our castle and unfortunate we were attacked by a Tim tom dragon and squashes our prince Alex like a pancake.

We came back to the boat and cooked dinner we had chilli con carne with tortilla chips and having a discussion on the weekend and no plan for departure tomorrow.
