A Day Like No Other!
Whether you are a complete novice looking for something different to do on a weekend with family and friends, or a keen sailor wanting to experience the thrill of sailing a 72ft Challenger, our day sails are to be enjoyed by all.
Following a short safety briefing we’ll head out into the Solent and quickly get you involved in learning how to handle these iconic yachts. You’ll have the opportunity to have a go at sail handling, ropework, tacking and helming.
Of course, if you prefer to sit back and let our expert crew take care of the sailing while you enjoy the sea air, that’s OK too!
Whatever you decide, we want you to know that your participation in this event supports our youth development voyages, which offer a catalyst for change in the lives of young people aged 12 to 25.
Over the course of the day, our expert sailing staff will share the history of our Challenger yachts – which have all raced around the world twice as part of the BT Global Challenge in the early 2000s.
Meals on board are included for the day.
While every effort will be made to deliver the above voyage content sometimes, due to weather and the ability of the crew, the content may need to change.
