Please tell us a bit about yourself
Hiii, I’m Panajota! I’m a twenty-something originally from Greece, now living in Portsmouth. I moved here a year ago to pursue my Master’s degree in International Marketing. In my free time, I love travelling, trying new foods, and exploring all the great things Portsmouth has to offer.
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust
I support the delivery of TSYT’s marketing strategy, working closely with the Digital, Engagement and Marketing Manager. My key responsibilities include creating fresh, engaging content for our website, social media, email newsletters, and more.
I lead on planning and producing multi-channel social media content, capturing real stories from our young people, and helping with PR, events, and campaign support. It’s a creative and rewarding role that allows me to share TSYT’s impact with a wider audience.
What has been your most memorable moment at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
One of my most memorable moments was seeing off the Fastnet crew for 2025. It was such a heartwarming experience—their excitement (and nerves!) were contagious.
I also got to film some really fun content with them, which gave me a behind-the-scenes look at their personalities and the amazing journey ahead.
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
People should know how exciting and important TSYT’s work is.
It’s not just about sailing—it’s about empowering young people, building their confidence, and helping them discover what they’re truly capable of. The impact we have at sea lasts far beyond the voyage.
Please describe your job in three words
Creative. Purposeful. Fast-paced.
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
Honestly, being famous sounds like a bit of a nightmare to me, but if I were to be known for something, I’d love to have my own travel show. Exploring new places, meeting interesting people, and sharing cultures (and food!) with a wide audience sounds like a dream.
