We set sail with 6 young people aged 12–15 for a five-day trip aboard Challenger 4.

From 04–07 November 2025, they got stuck into all aspects of sailing, hoisting sails, steering the boat, working as a team and came away with new skills, confidence, and great memories.

Day 1

We left from Milton Keynes police station at 8:30

We set sail from Gunwharf port Portsmouth, Jamaal Imran and Mohammad were bringing in the ropes and fighting the winds to stay alive and Amy and rose while Mr Anderson and miss Girt.

We team 2 cooked fajitas and team 1 washed the plates and cutlery.

The people really enjoyed teams 2 cooking. We undone a lot of ropes it was a bit difficult, but we got it done Amy really helped us with tasks.

Day 2

Today we started from the Isle of Wight and set up the sail to go to Poole.

We learnt how to use winches Amy, rose and Azra did the most winching, Harry was helping to drop the main sail and steered the boat today was a rough day everyone got a bit seasick.

Azra and Harry was in group 2 so we was cooking it was a very long ride but we got there in the end.

We got to walk around Poole and got some food after dinner we are going to be going to the showers in Poole and have some rest time.

Today was a really fun day, can’t wait for tomorrow because are going to Weymouth and the beach it’s not a long way at all so that’s going to be good.

Today was a pretty good day.
