Tall Ships changes Direct Debit provider
From 4th January 2021, Tall Ships Youth Trust is changing our payment processor for Direct Debit payments in order to soon offer online rather than paper-based regular payment subscriptions. In January 2021, we will roll out this service for all new regular giving donations and membership purchases.
Our new processor, GoCardless, will be responsible for processing all Direct Debit collections from this date. Read their privacy notice at gocardless.com/privacy.
For any existing direct debit subscribers, no action is required to continue paying by Direct Debit, and the change will not affect the service you receive in any way.
Please note that due to how the new direct debit mandate is set up, monthly payments will now be debited on the 1st of the month rather than the 15th. Also, ‘GC re Tall Ships Youth T’ will appear on bank statements instead of ‘TALL SHIPS YOUTH TRUST’. All payments will continue to be fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
