LifeChanger Appeal makes national headlines
Tall Ships Youth Trust proudly launched its LifeChanger Appeal at Clarksons’ Commodity Quay offices in St Katharine Docks, London, on Wednesday 6th October.
We’re hugely grateful to Jeff Woyda, Chief Operating and Financial Officer, his PA, Jan Poskitt and the wonderful support team – Joy Norman, Deputy Catering Manager, Zaria Romero, Lily Bagshaw, Fausto Gherardini and Max Haggerty at Clarkson PLC for hosting this successful event.
The Daily Express featured our launch in yesterday’s paper and online. Click on the below image to read the article in full.
Below is a selection of photographs taken by Jonathan Buckmaster, Daily Express, from the event and of TSYT’s Challenger 2 and crew arriving in London on Tuesday.
Thanks to our Skipper, Sue Geary, assisted by sailing staff, Mate, Sophie Crocker and Watch Leaders, Sharon South and Jacky Ford. They were joined by our Trustee and Executive Principal of Alternative Learning Trust, Emma Bradshaw, Emma Hobson, Mandy Simmons and three students including volunteer Watch Assistant, Scott Mackenzie from The Limes College in Sutton.
TSYT has launched our LifeChanger Appeal to raise at least £1.5m to buy an additional large sailing yacht to help hundreds more young people a year with a ‘life-changing’ voyage. Find out more here.
