Day 1
Saturday 10 May
Welcome… this will in fact be the best blog you have ever read!
BY ÉVA
This is about our day, if you are interested, please keep reading.
First of all, we think we should let you know we are all still alive. We woke up to some banging tunes and Bens wonderful singing. I (Éva) was talking to Leah in my bunk and fell out of it (not great to be honest).
Adam was very boring all day because he didn’t go to sleep until stupid o’clock because he was on his phone (naughty, naughty breaking the rules).
We prepared the deck after breakfast and had our awesome safety briefing. Then we left the harbour and were held up by the St Faith Ferry… RUDE.
We put up our Yankee 2 sail after a choice between two (we chose the right one, Ben was thrilled!). We then sailed around for a while with some yummy biscuits and squash and more amazing songs and sing alongs. WE SAW A SEAL. Another wonderful thing about our day, was lunch, it was tortellini with tomato sauce.
We also had some deep convos, one being that we learnt about Finley’s love life… it’s very eventful. We danced to many a song, such as Macarena, 5,6,7,8, and our personal favourite BARBIE GIRL, much to the disappointment of Paul (PO).
After arriving in Cowes we moored the boat and then we got Ice Cream from the best ice cream shop everrrr. We walked around the high-street for a while, Noah bought a lot!! We then arrived back at the boat and did the man overboard drills which me and Leah were picked for, much to my distaste as I thought I was getting dropped in the water (I wasn’t, but Ben was thinking about it) IT TURNED OUT TO BE SO FUN. I WANTED TO DO IT AGAIN.
Then Harrison and Alden did it and it was rather funny. We then had more sing a longs and a great dinner and that was it…Goodbye losers (only because you’re not having as much fun as us).
