Challenger 4 – Dene Magna School

By Tall Ships - March 14th, 2019 | Posted in Voyager blogs No comments

Day One

We arrived at 12 o’clock and we had a briefing about the inside and outside of the ship. We set sail about 3 o’clock from Portsmouth to Lymington (a 16 nm trip). We arrived at 5 o’clock. Green watch cooked dinner (chicken and chorizo pasta – it was delicious). While green watch were cooking, red watch were packing up the deck (packing up the sails and coiling the ropes in the snake pit). After dinner, red watch washed up the dishes and cleared the table and green watch relaxed. We went to bed at about 10 o’clock.

While we slept, Nathan and Rhys were talking extremely loudly.

Day Two

We awoke at around 8 o’clock. Red watch were on breakfast duties and cooked some extravagant bacon rolls. All this was going on whilst green were prepping the deck. After the breath-taking breakfast experience, we met up with the girls and went into town. In town, we first went to Tesco and got some adorable food. Then we went to Pound land and Rhys bought a squishy poo (it is like his child to him). Jacob bought lots of sweets and Nathan downed an energy drink (multi vitamin drink). When we got back to the ship we prepared to set sail. We left at 2 o’clock. We did some loops and headed in to East Cowes in the Isle of Wight. We arrived at about half past 5.
