ARC 2013
A Sailing Trip of a Lifetime
21 November – 16 December - £ 3, 129 per person
Sail across the Atlantic in the largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world, the ARC 2013. With over 2700 nautical miles of sailing over 24 days, since its beginning in 1986, the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers has become an ideal way to make a transatlantic crossing for the first time.
Enjoy the unique thrill of ocean racing within the company of 200 other yachts from Gran Canaria to St Lucia. Then party in style on arrival after about 14 days at sea with a traditional Caribbean welcome and entertainment.
No Sailing Experience Needed
On board you will be one of up to 12 crew and you will be led by our professional Skipper and their Crew. No experience is necessary to join the ARC but there will be three days of preparation and training before you leave to ensure you are happy with everything you need to know. You will be expected to get involved with all aspects of sailing the boat and help with all of the cooking and cleaning throughout the trip. You will also need to be prepared to spend at least 14 days at sea!
Training Weekend
This gives you an opportunity to meet your fellow crew mates and familiarise yourself with our yachts. The weekend will be based in the Solent on the south coast and will include safety briefs, tacking, gybing and an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
