Join the Tall Ships Youth Trust for the adventure of a lifetime.
You will learn the fundamental aspects of sailing whilst working towards your RYA Start Yachting qualification. By the end of the voyage you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail hailing, ropework and be aware of safety on board.
Day 1 will include a safety briefing and meet and greet before beginning heading out of the Solent. You will then begin to learn basic sailing techniques and experience man over board practice.
Over the course of the voyage you will build your sailing knowledge whilst celebrating, having fun and making friends.
There is a possibility you could be recommended to the Trust by the Skipper to come back and volunteer as a Watch Assistant or Watch Leader for future Tall Ships voyages.

Passport – Where passport required is indicated, the voyage will start and/or finish abroad or a UK based voyage will aim to visit abroad.
D of E – All of our voyages of 4 nights or more qualify for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential section. Please let our Reservations Team know before sailing if you want to use to use the voyage for the residential section.

To book a Sailing Voyage you will need the Crew's personal, next of kin, medical, passport (if applicable) and payment details to hand. Payments are secure and quick.
Sailing Voyage prices include accommodation, meals, tea, coffee, squash and snacks whilst onboard, safety equipment, waterproofs and sail training. They do not include flights, organised excursions, meals ashore, transport to/from the vessel, departure tax, optional extras and surcharges.
