Visit the world famous Titanic Museum on this 7 night voyage from Inverkip to Belfast.
You will begin the voyage in Inverkip before sailing down the Firth of Clyde to Belfast. You will then be able to explore the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience. Walk the decks of the largest remaining White Star vessel or immerse yourself in the historic slipways as you uncover the true legend of Titanic, in the city where it all began.
During the voyage, you will learn the fundamental aspects of sailing and experience steering a yacht, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board.
The first day will include meet and greet followed by a safety briefing before beginning your voyage. You will then learn basic sailing techniques and experience man over board practice.
Over the following days you will build your sailing knowledge whilst having fun and making friends. You will be involved with all aspects of sailing the yacht from looking after the boat to cooking and cleaning. After a day at sea most evenings will be spent covering theory, relaxing and socialising or you may have the chance to go ashore.
There is a possibility you could be recommended to the Trust by the Skipper to come back and volunteer as a Watch Assistant or Watch Leader for future Tall Ships voyages.
