Experience the challenge of offshore sailing on one of our ocean-going yachts on this Half Term Offshore Adventure Challenge.
Day 1 will include meet and greet and a safety briefing before heading out into the Solent. You will be put into watch systems to begin to learn basic sailing techniques and experience man over board practice.
Over the following days you will build your sailing knowledge whilst having fun and making friends. You will be involved with all aspects of sailing the yacht from looking after the boat to cooking and cleaning. You will extend your sailing knowledge by experiencing watch systems and night sailing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an understanding of what it feels like to go offshore in one of our iconic Challenger racing yachts.
There is a possibility you could be recommended to the Trust by the Skipper to come back and volunteer as a Watch Assistant or Watch Leader for future Tall Ships voyages.
