Why not treat a loved one or celebrate in sailing style on this Family Sail Day?
It is a fantastic opportunity to get the whole family involved as it is open to all ages (12 – 80) and abilities. Crew members can do as much or as little as they want as they learn the fundamental aspects of sailing and gain an insight into life at sea.
You will have the chance to set the sails, steer, tack and gybe. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the basics of sailing and find out if you would like to join one of our longer voyages in the future.
You will begin the day at 09:00 with meet and greet and a light breakfast followed by a safety briefing before heading out into the Solent. Having hoisted the sails, the morning will be spent covering the basics of sailing before breaking for lunch. You will continue your sail training during the afternoon and head back to Gunwharf Quays ready to depart for around 16.30.
Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the above voyage content sometimes, due to weather and crew’s ability, the content may need to change. Please see below for our full Conditions of Booking
