Day 3

We woke up at 7:30 and went to the beach and swam in the freezing cold water and played beach football. We left port and 11:00  and were the only boat to have all the sails up. We hit our top speed yet of 9 nots. We did a Joil houst with the Yanky and the Stay. We did a lot of Tacking and when we had a break we did a lot of dancing to YMCA. It was great fun. The best day yet. We arrived at Pool ant 7:00 and cooked a amazing pasta and Bolonaze. We also played the beats out of our speakers and watched Odi street dance.

Day 2

We left Cows at 10:00 and put our motor on till we got out of solent. We got the main sail up, the Stay sail and the Yanky. We did a bit of Tacking but not only with the Yanky and the main. There was light winds and when we turned of the motor we went really slowly and could feel the waves and got sea sick. We hand baked Potato with cheese and beans. 5 people did not get there potato because Fi put the the Potatos on the Grill and burnt them so mr topom saved the day by frying the potatoes.

We  arrived in Weymouth at 6:00 and orded fish and chips. After the fish and Chips we went to the Yacht club and watched England sucssecful win over Uraguy. We came back and slept in our hamouks.

Day 1

We arrived at port at about 12:30 and had 30 minuets to get some lunch, at first when I saw the boat I thought it was bigger than I expected.

When we got on the boat we spent 10 minuets downstairs preparing our bags and putting on Crew T-Shirts. After that we met up with Fiona to do the indoor safety procedures and then with Steve upstairs we learnt the ropes.

We sailed off to Cowes in The Isle of Wight; we learnt a lot of the nautical phrases on board and used the ropes. We also got to put up the sail!

We arrived at Cowes at about 7:30 PM, had a dinner of Fajitas and played charades in the night.

Daniel & Ricky :)
