The Tall Ships Youth Trust adopted it’s new name at an AGM on 1st August 2004. The Financial Statements for the Year Ended 28 February 2003 were published in the charity’s previous name of the Sail Training Association.

It is the UK’s oldest and largest sail training charity for young people aged 12-25.
